Painted Tile for the State Capital Building Display
"Yellow Brick Road"
Florosa Elementary School was voted as one of the schools in Okaloosa County, Florida as an A+ School. Each school was awarded a ceramic tile to paint up with their school slogan.
I was asked by the Principal of the school, while teaching a voluntary art class to 3rd graders, if I would paint their tile for them.
I drew up a couple ideas from suggestions they had given me to have on the tile. I presented the ideas to the school for their approval, in which they had a vote on what the school wanted.
This is the Tile they have representing their school in the State Capitol Building. With all other A+ Schools in Florida, creating a "Yellow Brick Road" display.
This was an honor for me to be able to help in representing their school at the Capitol Building in Tallahassee, Florida.
